Tim Casari, PT, DPT
Tim has been a hospital-based outpatient physical therapist since graduating from the University of Colorado Denver and Health Sciences Center in 2007. Tim also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Central Michigan University.
He focuses his practice on the treatment and management of many orthopedic conditions, neurological conditions including Bell’s palsy, Parkinson’s disease and Multiple Sclerosis, lower extremity amputation with prosthetic training, and vestibular disorders. He places high importance on patient education, and enjoys teaching his patients about their conditions. He feels that when given treatment as well as knowledge, they can manage their symptoms not only during their course of treatment, but for their lifetime.
Tim enjoys all of the outdoor splendors of Colorado with his family, and can be found routinely camping, hunting and riding his mountain bike. He currently splits his treatment time between our Anschutz and Boulder outpatient clinics.
Tennyson Gilpatrick, PT, DPT, CSCS, NSCA-CPT
Tennyson is originally from Sheridan, WY. She received her undergraduate degree from Montana State University in 1999, and then earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Creighton University in 2003.
Tennyson is a certified strength and conditioning specialist and certified personal trainer, giving her better training to return injured athletes to their sports. Her clinical interests include sports medicine, orthopedics and spine rehabilitation. She continues to enjoy physical therapy education as she coordinates all student experiences at the Boulder Physical Therapy clinic.
Tennyson's hobbies include playing city league basketball, and spending time with friends and family.
Chad Kittles, MSPT, MTC
Chad graduated with a Master’s degree in physical therapy from the University of Colorado in 2000. He currently supervises the University of Colorado Hospital’s physical therapy clinic in Boulder, CO.
Chad holds a unique certification in osteopathic manipulative techniques through Manual Therapy Seminars of Colorado, and specializes in orthopedic spine rehab. However, he continues to practice general orthopedic rehab as well.
Outside of the clinic, Chad loves mountain biking, snowboarding, hiking, and hanging out with his family.
Marcus Kurek, PT, MA, SEP
Marcus earned his Bachelor's degree in physical therapy from The Northwestern University School of Medicine, a Master's degree in Contemplative Psychotherapy form the Naropa University, and has achieved the status of Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) through Peter Levine’s (author of Waking the Tiger) Foundation for Human Enrichment. He has practiced since 1983 and has spent a majority of his career focusing on the treatment of chronic conditions integrating traditional (manual) and alternative approaches, and studying the interrelationship between the psychological and physiological aspects of chronic dysfunction and traumatic stress.
He served as the principle physical therapist of the Pain Management Services at the Mapleton Center, a Division of Boulder Community Hospital and was instrumental in bringing the understanding of traumatic stress in the treatment of the chronic pain patient. Marcus lectures nationally with Dr. Robert Scaer, author of “The Body Bears the Burden" and "The Trauma Spectrum."
In cooperation with Sgt. Andrew Pogany, he co-founded the “Operation Just One” movement in Colorado to help recruit healthcare providers to donate time and services to assist veterans in need. He was entered as “Expert Witness in Chronic Pain” in Sterling, Colorado County Court in July 1998.
Hetal Mehta, PT, DPT, OCS
Hetal has been practicing physical therapy since 2002. She received her Master's in Physical Therapy from the Washington University in St. Louis in 2001. She then received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Regis University in 2008.
Hetal is also an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, a certified yoga instructor, and certified in Intramuscular Manual Therapy (trigger point dry needling). Her area of focus is the outpatient orthopedic setting. She enjoys traveling, being outdoors and spending time with her family.
Rob Shultz, MS, PTA
Rob Schultz grew up in Fort Collins, CO. He graduated from Colorado State University with an undergraduate degree in Sports Medicine in 1991, and went on to get his Master of Sciences in Exercise Physiology at CSU in 1993. In total Rob spent 5 years including a graduate assistantship with the Athletic Department at CSU, working primarily with football athletes.
Rob obtained his Physical Therapy Assistant license in 1996 and has been practicing in outpatient orthopedics. He works at the Boulder Physical Therapy Clinic, and his special interests include running, weight training, and taking care of his two daughters with any other spare moment.
