Graduate Nurses Advancing from Level I to Level II

- Graduation ceremony at close of one-year residency program
- Pay increase of 3%
Newly Hired Experienced RNs
- Honored at unit ceremony/party where the Chief Nursing Office is invited to award Level II UEXCEL and magnet pins.
- Quarterly STAT recognition
- Personal e-mail communication from Chief Nursing Officer welcoming RN to University of Colorado Hospital
Recognition on Advancement to Levels III and IV
- UEXCEL Advancement Recognition Ceremony during Nurses' Week

- Pay increase of 4%, in addition to pay for performance exceeds increase
- Increased days for education: two for Level II, three for Level IV
