University of Colorado Hospital's
Graduate Nurse Residency Program
University of Colorado Hospital is the largest academic medical center in the Rocky Mountain region, and offers a supportive clinical environment for the practice of professional nursing.
We value education, hiring only BSN graduate nurses. Our nurse-patient ratios reflect a caring and quality framework to ensure best practices for patient safety and excellent care.
Nurses have an opportunity for career development through our active and extensive education and evidence-based practice research programs. Promotion and practice recognition are rewarded through UEXCEL , our professional practice program, a tradition for over 10 years.
Designed with input from our graduate nurses, our one-year graduate nurse residency program is structured to provide the critical elements important for a successful transition into professional nursing practice.
