Professional Resources provides continuing education programs designed to reflect the role of University of Colorado Hospital as a primary teaching hospital in the Rocky Mountain Region.

  • Continuing education consists of planned activities intended to build upon the educational and experiential bases of nursing practice, education, administration and research. The goal to improve the health of University of Colorado Hospital patients, families and the community.
  • Professional Resources embraces the philosophy of Senge (The Fifth Discipline , 1990), that an organization must support continual learning in order to make significant contributions and stay viable in a changing and uncertain environment.
  •  Our programs in specialty nursing have helped University of Colorado Hospital become a leader in nursing education in the Rocky Mountain Region. We offer continuing education courses in rural areas directly and through the University of Colorado Area Health Education Centers.
