The University of Colorado Hospital is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Colorado Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

  • Continuing education consists of planned activities that build upon the educational and experiential bases of nursing practice, education, administration and research. The goal is to improve the health of University of Colorado Hospital patients, families and the community.
  • Our programs in specialty nursing have helped University of Colorado Hospital become a leader in nursing education in the Rocky Mountain region. We offer continuing education courses in rural areas directly and through the University of Colorado Area Health Education Centers.
