- Filling your prescriptions at a UCH pharmacy allows us to retain savings within the system to use toward keeping future premiums affordable. When you fill your prescriptions at one of the UCH pharmacies, not only do you benefit, but the plan benefits - which helps us all.
Extended-Day Supply for maintenance and long-term prescriptions (90-day supply)
Please note that in order to maximize efficiency and minimize cost, CU Health Plan "Exclusive" members will be required to fill 90-day supplies of maintenance medications after the initial three 30-day supply fills. You will benefit from the advantages of 90-day pricing, which means you get a 3-month supply for the price of 2 one-month co-pays. This could mean a savings of up to $240 per year per prescription. In addition, you may opt to pick up your prescriptions at any of the UCH-Network pharmacy locations.
The initial 90-day period is permitted to allow you and your physician to stabilize the dosage and medication choice. After this 90-day period, you must transfer your prescription to one of the UCH-Network pharmacies or the UCH Mail Order service. Of course, you may also set up your prescription immediately with any UCH pharmacy and take advantage of the "three months for the price of two" pricing right away.
