Confused about the most recent cervical cancer screening recommendations?

On November 20, 2009, the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG) issued new guidelines for cervical cancer screenings.

ACOG recommends that women have Pap screenings every two years, starting at age 21. UCH supports these recommendations, which are based on results from recent studies.
