Inpatient Rehabilitation at University of
Colorado Hospital
The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation operates a 12-bed inpatient service. We provide general rehabilitation in an acute care setting for patients whose conditions are best treated in an inpatient environment. Our interdisciplinary team focuses on the medical and functional issues that affect your day-to-day life, addressing physical, cognitive, and emotional factors in order to increase your ability to live independently.

Our treatment team. Our treatment team has remained highly consistent, with demonstrated expertise in a variety of medical, surgical, and neurological conditions.
Our nurses. Nurses who work in rehabilitation services have many years of experience. The UCH nursing staff has been recognized for excellence by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
