The urology and urodynamics health team at University of Colorado Hospital includes doctors and nurses. They have education and training in caring for adults with a variety of kidney, bladder and urinary problems. They work together to provide you with the best care. The team also works with specialists from other areas within the hospital when necessary.

Kidney Disease Specialists

Urologist – a doctor who is board-certified and has specialized training in caring for diseases of the male and female urinary systems and the male reproductive system.

Urogynecologist – a doctor who is a board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist with specialized training in caring for women with pelvic floor dysfunction.

Nurse practitioner (NP) – a registered nurse who has completed a master’s degree. NPs are licensed to see patients for assessment, treatment and follow-up.
