Treating Heart & Vascular Conditions at University of Colorado Hospital

University of Colorado Hospital is the largest and most recognized referral center in the Rocky Mountain region for cardiovascular care and is nationally recognized for its cardiology and cardiac surgery programs.

"Changing the way hypertension is managed in this country"

For people with stubbornly high blood pressure, standard treatment regimens might not work. According to researchers who have seen preliminary study results, the "innovative" Symplicity HTN-3 Renal Denervation clinical trial underway at different sites around the country and here at UCH could lead to "the most exciting advance in hypertension in literally decades."

A special thanks

On a recent skiing trip to Aspen, my husband experienced chest pains at the top of the mountain resulting in his having three stents.

We can never thank enough all those involved, from the ski patrol that brought him down the mountain, everyone at Aspen Valley Hospital, the air ambulance, but especially Drs. Salcedo and Carroll and all their team at the University of Colorado Hospital.

Not only was the medical treatment we received first class, but it was the help and kindness we received by so many individuals that we will never forget.
