University of Colorado Hospital TomoTherapy® Treatment Facility
In August 2009, University of Colorado Hospital and the CU Cancer Center opened the new TomoTherapy Cancer Treatment Facility, offering precision radiation treatment through its advanced TomoTherapy® Hi-Art® system.
About TomoTherapy
TomoTherapy® is a new way to deliver radiation treatment for cancer. It delivers a very sophisticated form of intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT), and combines treatment planning, CT image-guided patient positioning, and treatment delivery into one integrated system.
TomoTherapy can be used to treat a variety of cancers. Your physician can help you determine if TomoTherapy is a treatment option for you.
