30-Day Residential Treatment for Addiction
At CeDAR, we provide a holistic and intensive 30-day residential treatment program. It is based in the time-tested 12-Step modality and designed for patients ages 18 and older.
Our 30-day treatment program includes daily counseling, therapy groups, an addiction education lecture series, 12-Step meetings, a monitored exercise program and spiritual counseling.
A highly skilled medical and counseling staff
"I arrived at CeDAR physically and spiritually depleted; close to death. The beginning of my stay was crucial for me and with the help and care of a highly skilled medical and counseling staff, I was able to comfortably begin a life long process of healing."

Focused, individualized care
Because CeDAR's capacity is 50 patients, the care provided is highly individualized, and clinicians are able to provide plenty of one-on-one attention. Our individual counselor-to-patient ratio is 4 to 1 – one of the best in the industry.
Our treatment program begins in the assessment/detoxification unit, which is supervised by registered nurses, 24/7.
Here, every patient undergoes a comprehensive assessment that includes a medical history screening, a physical, laboratory work, addiction and psychiatric evaluations, and family and spiritual screenings. This gives our staff the information needed to create an effective and individualized behavioral care plan.

We've built our program on years of experience and research. We believe that these principles give our patients the best chance to live a long, successful life – without chemicals.
Treating co-occurring disorders
CeDAR is recognized as a world-class center for the quality treatment of co-occurring disorders. We effectively treat a number of mental health issues, including anxiety, bi-polar disorder, depression, compulsive gambling and post-traumatic stress disorder.
While a patient's treatment is primarily focused on his or her chemical dependence, each is screened for co-occurring conditions. If it is determined that a patient is struggling with a co-occurring issue, he or she is provided with an individualized behavioral care plan to address it.
As part of our addiction education series, board-certified psychiatrists often speak to patients on the subject of co-occurring disorders. Furthermore, they facilitate gender specific co-occurring groups. Patients also participate in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy groups to further their recovery. These techniques help our staff determine if a patient may need extended stay treatment to assist their long-term recovery.
