Residential treatment for alcohol, drugs, and gambling addiction

Addiction is a disease that can adversely affect the physical, psycho-social and spiritual health of a person. CeDAR's intensive residential treatment programs address all aspects of a patient's health and recovery. With a foundation in the 12-Step tradition, our residential treatment program is evidence-based, time-tested and comprehensive.

At CeDAR, you, or your loved one, can expect treatment that includes individual therapy, group counseling, 12-Step study, daily exercise and spiritual guidance. We include state-of-the-art pharmacology in our program, and unlike other facilities, all medication and psychiatric services are included in the program cost.

Patients struggling with chemical dependencies may also suffer from a co-occurring disorder, such as bi-polar disease, depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress or compulsive gambling. If necessary, we will help you, or your loved one, address any co-occurring disorder as we treat the chemical addiction.

Our expertise

Our alliance with the University of Colorado Hospital and the University of Colorado-Denver School of Medicine's Department of Psychiatry helps set CeDAR apart from similar rehabilitation facilities in Colorado and around the country. This extended network allows us to provide fully comprehensive care for our patients, including advanced medical care and psychiatric services. This relationship also enables us to offer complementary services at the hospital, such as integrative medicine techniques.

A safe, supportive environment is crucial to recovery. Our independent campus is nestled in a picturesque area adjacent to University of Colorado Hospital. The seven-acre layout offers patients a private and serene environment that is conducive to individual recovery and rebuilding relationships destroyed by addiction. At CeDAR, we are proud to offer an array of modern facilities designed to help heal the mind, body and spirit. Our campus includes two residential cottages, an assessment and detox center, and a well-equipped gym. For family and spiritual healing, CeDAR boasts the cozy Lori Wolf House and the newly constructed Marian Pfister Anschutz Spiritual and Family Center.
