Professional Development

  • On Tuesday, November 10, CeDAR will be hosting a HR Executive Breakfast seminar titled "Working Minds: Promoting Resiliency and Preventing Distress at Work" from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. in our Lecture Hall. This presentation will address mental distress, its impact on the workplace and ways companies can prevent the impact of distress and promote well-being. Sally Spencer-Thomas, Psy.D., Executive Director for the Carson Spencer Foundation will be the keynote speaker. Participants will have an opportunity to purchase the "Working Minds Toolkit" at a reduced rate and will receive a free "Men and Depression" DVD. For more information on this event, please contact Diane Sanders at (720) 848-3007 or Diane.Sanders@uch.edu
  • On Friday, November 13, CeDAR Clinical Manager Michael Dinneen will conduct a seminar titled "The Spiritual Process of Healing," from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in our Lecture Hall. This presentation will examine the spiritual ramifications of resentments, fears, secrets, and dysfunctional sexual activity.
