Matthews, PhD, RN, AOCNS , Associate Professor, University of Colorado Denver, College of Nursing will discuss facts about sleep disturbances in persons with cancer, and tips to management of this common problem.

On Tuesday, April 23rd, join us for the first presentation of the Survivorship 101 Lecture Series: Sleep After Cancer: Be A Champion of Your Own Health. Take control of your sleep needs with a better understanding of sleep-wake biology and ways to cope with sleep problems. Ellyn E. Matthews, PhD, RN, AOCNS , Associate Professor, University of Colorado Denver, College of Nursing will discuss facts about sleep disturbances in persons with cancer, and tips to management of this common problem.
 
The University of Colorado Cancer Center presents a Survivorship 101 Lecture Series.  This lecture series will cover various topics and provide patients and families with information, research, and coping strategies.The Survivorship 101 Lecture Series is open to all cancer patients, caregivers, family, and friends. Free refreshments and/or dinner will be provided.  The lectures will be followed by a question-and-answer session.  There is no fee to attend, but space is limited.  Please call 720-848-0316 or email uch-cancerresourcecenter@uch.edu for reservations.
