The range of topics presented through workshops, podium, and poster sessions is broad and represents the diversity of research and evidence-based practice initiatives being conducted in a variety of clinical settings.

Program Objectives
Following this symposium, the participant should be able to:
- Generate ideas about changes in practice, education, and administration that could improve patient outcomes in the future.
- Describe the variety of healthcare research and evidence-based practice projects through podium presentation sessions.
- Identify strategies, tools, and resources for successful clinical research and evidence-based practice initiatives.
- Examine research and evidence-based practice changes presented by poster sessions.
Intended Audience
Professional healthcare providers and students in fields of practice or study of nursing, medicine, nutritional services, pharmacy, social work, rehabilitation services, respiratory, occupational and physical therapy, and other healthcare related areas are invited.
