A 2.5 day intensive that includes didactic training and 8-10 hours of clinical time.
- Demonstrate how to perform HIV risk assessments and provide information on risk reduction and recommendations regarding HIV testing
- Conduct initial evaluation and follow-up of patients in early stages of HIV infection
- Recognize and treat early symptoms and common manifestations of HIV infection
Clinical time is individualized, to the extent possible, to meet the professional learning goals, practice needs, and interests of the participant.
