CAPACITY MANAGEMENT
COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course is designed for registered nurses and other health care professionals to enhance knowledge of the components and issues related to capacity/demand management.
Participants will have an opportunity to identify a departmental process that they believe can be "overhauled" to improve capacity management.
OBJECTIVES:

Recognize the goals and outcomes measurements to improve patient flow

Describe what capacity/demand means for UCH

Identify participant's role in supporting capacity/demand management strategies

Identify actions to resolve capacity/demand bottlenecks

- This course is for UCH employees only. External registrations will not be accepted.
Continuing Nursing Education Credit: Continuing nursing education contact hours will be awarded to participants who attend the course in its entirety and complete an evaluation.
