This program is intended to provide an overview of current trauma care practices and an opportunity to review and practice critical skills necessary to provide quality care to this patient population across the continuum of care.
- Discuss assessment and management priorities of trauma patients
- Review orthopedic considerations that are specific to trauma patients
- Describe assessment and care of patients with traumatic brain injury
- Review skills and technology frequently used with trauma patients
6.0 ANCC CNEs / 6.0 EMS CEs will be awarded to nurses/ EMTs who attend this program in its entirety and complete the course evaluation.
University of Colorado Hospital is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Colorado Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
This event will be held on the Anschutz Medical Campus in the Nighthorse Campbell Native Health building, 13055 E. 17th Ave., Aurora, CO 80045
Parking at the Anschutz Medical Campus is by fee or by permit only. Parking for this activity is available in the Ignacio, Georgetown, or Cheyenne Wells parking lots. All are indicated with a red X on the attached map. Cash/Coin/Credit Card accepted. Handicapped visitor parking is also available.
