Hearts of All Ages - 2012
More than 1,200 guests had a high Valentine’s Day time at the hospital’s fifth annual “Hearts of All Ages” event!
Proceeds from the 2012 Hearts of All Ages event will support University of Colorado Hospital's Departments of Neurology and Neurosurgery.
Our neuroscience specialists treat a range of brain conditions including Alzheimer’s disease, brain tumors, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease and stroke.
Attendance record set
This year's kid-friendly get-together easily set an attendance record, nearly tripling the figure recorded for the inaugural event in 2008.
It featured many familiar faces, including Channel 4’s Ed Greene, who has emceed the event every year. The soulful cover band Big Bang once again provided a memorable soundtrack for the evening. Broncos mascot Thunder also made his regular appearance, good-naturedly submitting to hundreds of photo requests – without once saying neigh.

Hearts of All Ages: A History
Peter H. Coors and his wife, Marilyn, always had mixed emotions about leaving their small children behind while they went out to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Pete always wanted to find a way to spend the day as a family and celebrate together.
He believed his work at University of Colorado Hospital would be a great opportunity to make this dream a reality and, at the same time, create a fundraiser for the hospital. With this, and help from Sharon Magness Blake, the Hearts of All Ages® event was born. The inaugural event was held on February 14, 2008.
