University of Colorado Hospital Welcomes Mary K. Rhinehart to Board of Directors

AURORA, Colo. – Mary K. Rhinehart is the newest member of the University of Colorado Hospital (UCH) Board of Directors. Rhinehart is senior vice president and chief financial officer of Johns Manville, a leading building products manufacturer. She will serve on the UCH board’s audit and finance committees.
“Mary’s expertise in finance and her extensive background in serving the community make her a great fit for the UCH Board of Directors,” said Bruce Schroffel, President and CEO of University of Colorado Hospital. “Mary’s commitment to her company and her community is exemplary and we look forward to utilizing her strengths for the growth and improvement of the hospital.”
Rhinehart said she looks forward to serving on the hospital board. She goes on to say, “The University of Colorado Hospital is an excellent organization with great leadership. The board of directors is engaged and invested in the success of the hospital. I look forward to being a part of efforts to make UCH one of the top 10 academic medical centers in the United States.”
In addition to serving on the University of Colorado Hospital board, Rhinehart is on the CoBiz Financial Board of Directors and the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business Executive Advisory Board. In 2008, she was named CFO of the Year by the Denver Business Journal and was celebrated by the Girl Scouts Foundation as one of their Women of Distinction.
