Distinguished Chairs Welcome New Members to University of Colorado Hospital’s Hearts of All Ages Fundraiser

Aurora (Aug. 7, 2008) - The University of Colorado Hospital welcomes new faces to a team of volunteers dedicated to raising awareness and money for key programs at the hospital. The annual Hearts of All Ages event is a Valentine’s themed evening of dinner, dancing and entertainment. The 2009 gala is set for Saturday, Feb. 14, and is sure to build off a successful inaugural year where more than $100,000 was raised to support the Cardiac and Vascular Center. As the hospital announces the day of next year’s event, we also wish to recognize the 2009 Heart of All Ages Committee.

Event chairpersons for the 2009 Hearts of All Ages Gala are Pete and Marilyn Coors, Sharon Magness Blake and Ernie Blake along with Ed Green from CBS4 serving as Master of Ceremonies.

Proceeds from the 2009 Hearts of All Ages will benefit University of Colorado Hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Geriatric Medicine Division. Hearts of All Ages is a fun and fundraising event open to all ages from grandchild to grandparent. Thunder, the Broncos live mascot, will make an appearance and plenty of fun will be found in a variety of activities including clowns, games, face painting and magic shows.

A kick-off event will be held September 22, 2008 at Coors Field for guests to sign up early for a table or to purchase tickets.
